Matthew Vandervorst helped create a wonderful picnic and rest spot for the community of Escondido at Sikes Adobe. Clearing away yards and yards of cati and brush, laying irrigation, creating a walking path surrounded by new vegetation, and creating a picnic area, Matthew's Eagle Scout project will bring great outdoor enjoyment to so many Escondido and North County citizens for years to come.
